Nestled in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region, Lockmere Country Club stands as a testament to one family's passion for golf and commitment to creating something truly special. What began as a nine-hole course in 1992 has evolved into one of the state's premier golf destinations, designed by golfers, for golfers.
Our journey started with Jerry Chaille's vision to create "a country club for blue collar people" - a place where golf's beauty and challenge could be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of background. Through three decades of continuous evolution and improvement, Lockmere has grown from that original nine holes to a magnificent 18-hole championship course that consistently earns recognition as one of New Hampshire's finest.
Every Detail Matters
When architect Phil Wogan designed Lochmere, he worked closely with Jerry to ensure the course would challenge and reward strategic play. But it's the golfer's touch that makes Lochmere special—from the 10-minute tee time intervals that keep pace moving, to the five different tee options that let every player find their perfect challenge.
From expanding to 18 holes in 1998 to adding our Greenside Restaurant and state-of-the-art facilities, every enhancement reflects our founding philosophy: delivering exceptional experiences while maintaining the welcoming, family atmosphere that makes Lockmere special.
